Community Features für Steam

Das große Update hat Valve nun offiziell angekündigt. Steam-Nutzer sollen Profile erstellen und diese anderen Steam-Nutzern präsentieren können. Es soll die Möglichkeit geben Gruppen zu bilden, Termine zu vereinbaren und es soll ein Voice-Chat-Feature geben.

Die neuen Community-Features sollen für alle über Steam spielbaren Titeln verfügbar gemacht werden. Außerdem sollen weitere Features folgen, wie man der offiziellen Meldung entnehmen kann. Dort wird Gabe Newell von Valve zitiert:

"Our community has given us great direction on the ways they want to see Steam evolve. Adding these new community features to make it easier to connect with other gamers is something we've wanted to see on Steam for a long time and this latest update is just the start. We've got a long list of items that we're working on to make it easier for gamers to connect and play games on Steam."
